I am a volunteer and I have seen many miricles at Charmacy.A redtail hawk was brought in by the spca.He had been hit head on by a truck.Bird was face down in a box and you could not tell if it was dead or alive.Marcy skillfully began working on the bird.under her skillfull care the bird was much stronger in several days but he couldn't stand. He was proped up in a nest of towels and had to be hand fed.Marcy continued with his care and gave him different homeopathic medicines as he recovered. He was standing in a week but he was blind .His severe head injury also injured his neck and he was really out of it.Marcy massaged and moved his head and neck slowly every day until he was able to turn around and clean his tale. His vision returned many months later and he became more and more alert.By the end of many months he was able to see and fly across the room to land on a perch. It took almost a year before he would eat on his own.Fed every day by hand for all this time.Marcy then turned him over to her falcnoer friend who trained him how to hunt and got him into good condition.Seemore as he was fondly named was released back into the wild in April 2011,two years after he arrived at Charmacy's door.
